About This Race

Created in 2018, Define Your Run (DYR) challenges runners to decide on the path to embark on instead of traditional structured races. Runners get to determine their final distance and define what they want to achieve on race day. Multiple race paths are opened for runners to choose from which ultimately defines the distance they will run.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Can I transfer my race entry to someone else?
No. All race slots are non-transferrable.

2. What time does the event start?
Flag off time is 0700hrs. Race Village opens at 0600hrs to 1100hrs

3. Will there be baggage deposit service available?
Baggage deposit will be made available to all runners. Runners are encouraged to arrive early to deposit their bags and avoid any delay as a queue is expected. While maximum care and security will be enforced, the race organiser will not be responsible for any loss or damaged items. Participants who choose to use this service may do so at their own risk.

4. Is it compulsory to wear the race bib?
Yes. Participants without their assigned race bib will be refused entry into the starting pen.

5. What is the flag-off time for the event?
Flag off will commence from 0700hrs to 0730hrs

6. What is the distance for the route?

There will be 3 turning points on the route which you can choose to turn back to site or continue on the route.

If you turn on the 1st turn (pink) , it will be approximately 3.75km.
If you turn on the 2nd turn(yellow), it will be approximately 7.5km.

If you turn on the 3rd turn(green), it will be approximately 10.5km.
If you do not turn and follow the whole route (4 routes), it will be approximately 13.5km.

There will be route directional signages and volunteers on route, but there won’t be any KM markers as different runners will be taking up a different route, hence making the KM markers inaccurate.
