For the 10th Edition, we will be adding in Pen Allocation for better race experience. All participants are required to start from different pens based on their estimated time of completion and pens entry will be printed on their race bibs.

For Pen A & B, each wave holds a total of 2500, both male and female, runners. Pen A is the fastest pen for the Half-Marathon.
*Wave allocation for Pen C and D is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
**Runners registering for Pen A will have to submit a proof of their timing results or Finisher’s certificate in the field box when you register. Only eligible runners will be allocated into Pen A. Runners that have registered for Pen A but deemed not eligible will be allocated to the next available wave. It is important for runners to select a Pen that is suitable for them.

21.1KM Finisher Tee
1. What is the minimum age to participate in the 2XU Compression Run 2020?
- 21.1KM: Participants must be aged 17 years and above as at race day.
- 10KM: Participants must be aged 14 years and above as at race day.
- 5KM: Participants must be aged 12 years and above as at race day.
All participants below the age of 18 are required to seek parental/ guardian consent to participate in the race. Relevant indemnity and declaration fields must be filled up at the point of registration - failing which, the Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to the participant.
2. Can I transfer my race registration if I wish to withdraw from the race?
All race registrations are strictly non-transferable.
3. Can I select the opposite gender’s apparels?
Yes. It is not gender-specific. For the selection of the event apparels, you may select your desired design (MENS/WOMENS) & size available from the drop list upon registration.
4. Will I get race timing?
Yes. All participants will get their race timing. Prize winners are based on gun time.
5. Is there a baggage deposit at the start point?
Yes. There is a baggage deposit area at the start point. Whilst maximum care and security will be enforced, the Organiser will not be responsible for any loss or damaged items or delay in retrieving the bags. Participants are advised to travel light.
6. How do I know which wave I’m assigned to?
To ease congestion on the route, flag off for certain categories will be broken down into multiple waves.
For 21.1KM, participants can select their ideal Pen during the registration process. Participants that select Pen A will have to submit a proof of their timing. Participants deemed not eligible will be allocated to the next available. For Pen C and D, pen allocation will be based on a first-come, first-served basis.
For 10KM and 5KM participants, wave allocation will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Runners competing for top prizes must start in the First Wave of their respective categories and assemble at the front of the start pen.
7. What time do I report for the race?
All participants are encouraged to be at the starting point 30 minutes before flag-off time. Runners who are late or start in another category will be disqualified. Runners who do not start before their respective category’s pen close times will be disqualified and for safety reasons, may not be allowed to run. No timing will be provided.
8. Can I wear my own running t-shirt on race day?
Yes. You can wear your own running apparel. However, you must display the allocated race bib clearly on the front of your race apparel at all times during the race.
9. I have forgotten or misplace the race bib.
Participants without race bibs are not allowed to participate in the race. For replacement of the race bib, an admin fee of $15 shall apply.
10. Any shuttle bus and option for the purchase of bus ticket?
Paid shuttle bus service will be made available from selected MRT stations.More information will be uploaded on the website and tickets will be on sale nearer to date.
11. What is the cut off time for the race?The cut-off time for each category is:
- 21.1KM: 4 Hours
- 10KM: 2 Hours 30 Minutes
- 5KM: 1 Hour 30 Minutes
Participants who do not cross various distance checkpoints at certain timings may be directed to run on footpaths or take an alternative route due to restrictions on road closure timings.
12. Can I request for a refund?
No refund is allowed or will be given for price difference after registration. There is NO loyalty rate on Spacebib.
